The film Postcards – Tivoli examines the 19th-century Copenhagen amusement park and considers its architecture in relation to the park’s 1905 colonial exhibition where inhabitants from the Danish colonies were put on display. While the Danish colonies have left few permanent traces in Tivoli, the colonial pasts of England and France remain visible throughout the architecture of the park.
