The installation Suitcase Wisdom was created by purchasing knock-off luggage from mixed-use tourist stores found in various New York City neighborhoods, strategically arranging them by their visible labels to form a poem about historical and contemporary exploration and travel read from suitcase to suitcase across their nameplates. Suitcase Wisdom is also presented in print format in the artist’s book City Grammar: Stormy Weather & Suitcase Wisdom.
